The original habitat of this ivasive butterfly is Southern Asia and the Middle East but
it has proven to be highly adaptable and can be a threat to citrus trees.
P.demoleus has been sighted in the Caribbean in 2004, other sighting were in
Jamaica, Puerto Rico and recently in Grand Cayman.
